Ever wonder if homesharing would be right for you? Do you have a friend who has room in their home and could use some extra income and/or help around the house? Know someone who is looking for an affordable place to live? HomeShare Vermont will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday, July 30 from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Thompson Senior Center in Woodstock. You’ll learn all about homesharing, have the opportunity to speak with people who are currently in a match and ask the HomeShare staff questions about our screening and matching process. We’ll have delicious cookies, ice cream, refreshments and a few prizes for the trivia wizards in the crowd. The Thompson Senior Center is located at 99 Senior Lane in Woodstock. The Open House is sponsored by AARP Vermont.
